2.4 - What about science?
These mythologies contradict each other since either the universe has a beginning, or it has not. Science could be seen as a third way. In the past, mythologies relied on the wisdom of priests, philosophers, story tellers ... On the opposite, science relies on experiments using sophisticated scientific instruments, some of them loaded in satellites. Latest results lead scientists to suggest a synthesis of the two types of contradictory mythologies which is, Genesis (creation), occurs again and again.

According to the latest theories, our universe is like a bubble floating in a large ocean with new bubbles forming all the time. Our universe emerged from a cataclysm (the Big Bang), but it exits in an ocean of other universes. In other words, Big bangs occur all the time creating parallel worlds to ours. Also, possibly, our universe could become inhabitable and human beings that would then have to move into another universe if they want to survive.
